ALLISON DARLING

Allison has been a dance educator for thirty-seven years, and a studio owner for thirty-five.  She was the Director/Owner of Allison Darling Dancers Ltd. in Pickering where she taught dancers ages two to adult in both recreational and competitive classes.  Many of her dancers competed across Canada and in the United States.  Her dancers also participated in the BATD exams and went on to be nominated for the BATD North American Scholarships in the Highland, Ballet, Jazz and Tap sections. 

Allison is a Life and Fellow Member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing.  She holds a Fellowship in Highland and Hip Hop and has her Members in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acro, Lyrical/Modern, Scottish National and Stage.  She is also a member of Acrobatic Arts.  Allison is an adjudicator for the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing and the Professional Adjudicators Alliance for Stage.  She is also a Zumba instructor and loves sharing her passion of dance with everyone.  

Allison has her Reiki Level 1, Level 2, Master Reiki Practitioner, and Master Reiki Teacher Practitioner.  Her journey of health and wellness is about sharing positive energy harmoniously with the mind, body and soul.
